Could there be trouble w/Connections

I tried to access the website and couldn't so I called the 800# and the message said
due to unforseen technical problems we can't take your call..Call back on tuesday. I'm glad I already received my order. I sure hope the passes and the vouchers work.
 
Home page of Connections web site is working fine for me right now. However, I'm not currently a member, so I can't log in to see if the rest is working. Were you not getting the home page at all, or is the problem that you can't log in?

I can access the homepage, but it keeps timing out when I put in my memebership#, but the phone message was a little weird. oh well

PS Mary. I did not forget you, however I am still "trapped" w/ the sick kids. I will try to runb to the office tommorrow.
 
I have received that message a few times in recent months, it seems as if their "computers are down" a lot. One time I called, and a gentleman answered saying their computers were down, and I pleaded with him to answer a couple of questions. Not only did he answer my questions, but he placed an order for me - so much for computers being down, but I wasn't about to say anything. Don't be too concerned - they are part of a huge organization, so I doubt you have too much to worry about. Oh, but people said that about Enron.... :eek:

I got my order on Tuesday (placed last Friday), so I am sure you will be fine.
 

Even if there were a problem with Connections, it would not have any effect on your passes and/or vouchers. They are printed and distributed by Disney and Connections just buys them from Disney. You are not getting "Connections" passes or vouchers - you are getting Disney passes and vouchers from Connections.

Connections is in Omaha ( it's memberworks). I know they were just hiring the other week. So I don't think they are in any trouble, just tech.computer problems. I am guessing thier phones and computers are some what hooked up together like most telemarketing companies in this area.

Does anyone know if you can join and order over the internet site? I needed to order some vouchers, but have been trying the 800# over the weekend with no luck. We leave on Friday, so it looks like I may miss out on the vouchers for this trip!

I ordered some today on line. and the 800 was working this morning.. Maybe have them mailed to where you are staying at.???
 
Just to add my two cents...I just joined through mypoints...got an email with my membership number within five minutes, and immediately ordered Counter vouchers . We'll see how long they take to arrive. It is 11 am est on Thursday, May 2nd...I'll edit this post when they arrive.
