We've never eaten at either, though both sound great. Which restaurant has the best view, atmosphere, food etc. Thanks for any help in advance.

Narcoosee's is primarily a fish/seafood restaurant. It does have some chicken and beef options but if you want fresh fish/seafood then Narcoosee's would fit that bill. My DH said that Narcoosee's reminded him of a Rusty Pelican restaurant (not sure if they are nationwide, but think upscale seafood -- in the $25-$35/per plate range). Citrico's is a more land-based dining experience. The food is very different as it does not do much fish/seafood. I know the menus are posted either here or at allears.

Narcoosee's is right on the lagoon with a Magic Kindgom view. Not all tables can see the castle/magic kingdom but it's on the water. The inside is rather non-descript, I think, but you get a very open feel with all the windows. I know many people talk about booking a later dinner so they can watch the fireworks from there. Citrico's is in the main building and there really isn't much view other than the courtyard. The ambiance is much cosier, I think, and it has a bit more of an upscale feel in my opinion. Not stuffy though. It's open and bright and the tables are not right upon each other. I think they're too close at Narcoosee's. Just my thought though.

We ate at Citrico's last night and Narcoosee's the night before and we prefer Citricos. We are a party of 3 and DD5 liked Citricos menu better as well.

My suggestion would be to look at the menus for each and see if you would have a preference. If you're looking for fireworks/magic kindgom view for dinner then Narcoosee's would be the one but remember you may not get a window seat and may have to get up and go watch the fireworks rather than sit at your seat inside.

You didn't mention how many 'we' would be, but if you're looking for a romantic dinner then I'd definitely say Citrico's would be better. If it's just a good dining experience both will give you that. Nonetheless, check out the menus and see if you and/or your group would have a preference.

Hope this helps! Best Wishes!

Is there a dress code at Narcoosees? If Ike stays away DH and I are supposed to eat there on Sat. We'll be in our park attire, is that alright?

:wizard: We've eaten at both and loved them both...Narcoossee's has the beautiful view of the lagoon. We had dinner during Wishes and it was amazing. The food was excellent ( got lobster and surf and turf) The desserts were really good especially the Almond Crusted Cheesecake.
We ate at Citrico's for the first time this year and loved the food and atmosphere. It lacks the lagoon views but is still a beautiful restaurant. We had the chicken over pasta and it was excellent...the desserts were great too..we had the lemon cheesecake and tropical fruit creme brulee....
We liked them both but if we had to pick one I think it would be Narcoossee's. Get reservations during Wishes....it's magical!!!!

Both are "business casual". That means no tees or tanks or cutoffs. They'll read you the rules when you reserve.

There will be 3 of us; wife, daughter (14) and myself. We're staying at the resort, so we'll probably eat at both.

View - Narcoossee's (though there are window seats at Citricos where there are fireworks views. You can also go outside to the courtyard after dinner and watch Wishes from there). I'd also like to add that I prefer to watch Wishes in the park unless I'm at Cali Grill, but this is just my preference.

Atmosphere - Hands down Citricos. Narcoossee's is very bright, loud, and open. The tables seem really close together too. Citricos is warm and intimate. The lighting is perfect.

Food - Unless you want lobster, Citricos wins this as well. If you want fish, you can definitely get an excellent dish here. I had a wonderful barramundi meal the last time I was there.

Though you didn't ask, I also think the service at Citricos is better. They operate on an up-server, down-server system which I find to be much more attentive and upscale. (And if you don't like your server you'll have another one. So you're not stuck with the same one all night :) )

They are both really great resturants. It really depends as to what you want to eat. Nacroossee's is a seafood resturant which is very good. Narcoossees has the better view I think. Citrico's has the better atmosphere and really good food. If I had to pick one it would probably be Citrioc's. It a hard decision.
