Could someone PLEASE help me find out if my DING is working?

I haven't received any DINGS lately, so I don't know what's going on.

Is there anyone out there whose DING is working that can check to see if there are any DING fares for Spokane? If there are Spokane DING fares right now, then something is definately WRONG with my DING setup.

I just skimmed the History of DINGs thread and I don't see Spokane listed. Would it be listed under another city? You might want to check out that thread. The first three posts lists a summary of offerings since the middle of November.

Here's the link to the "History of DINGs" thread. You can read the 1st 3 posts on the thread for a summary of all the DINGs back to October.

If you see your city listed...you can dig around in the posts to match the date and see what the fare prices and dates were for that particular DING.

Hi Carolyn

No there wouldn't be a history of DING fares for Spokane to Orlando, because Southwest doesn't have any flights from Spokane to Orlando. We would have to fly out of Seattle to get a DING fare to Orlando.

I was asking so someone could check for ANY current DING fares for Spokane to anywhere so I would know if my DING setup on my computer is working properly, since I haven't received any DINGS for a while now, but I used to get at least one everyday. I was just wondering what was going on.

Is it possible for you to check for me?

Well, I just checked my Ding and I have not received anything for today and for some reason I get the full list..... Sorry I couldn't be more help.

According to my backdoor for RDU & MCO there is a ding coming shortly. Stay tuned and check the postings in the History of DINGs thread.

EDIT: A quick skim of the list in the history thread shows Seattle DINGS for 1/15, 1/22, & 1/23. I don't have details but I'm sure they're in the thread. I have no way of knowing if there were offerings in Seattle for other markets since I don't monitor Seattle.

EDIT AGAIN: Current DING offers flights from Seattle but nothing for MCO.

I've not been getting any Dings for about a week...not sure what the heck has happened...it just seems like the Dings aren't coming as often as they used to...now I'm wondering if something is messed up with my Ding I downloaded. Anybody got any ideas? I list St. Louis as my home airport. Thanks for the info and the help...really appreciate it...right now I'm searching for great price to get to DL.

From an earlier post today. Please forgive me for being lazy!

I keep my home airport set to RDU since I don't fly out of any other airport. I originally set up a backdoor method to check during the day since I can't download DING at work. Recently I set up another backdoor method to keep watch on all MCO dings. Works great! Here's a link to the instructions on flyer talk. If you have time you might want to read the entire FAQ. Lots of great information for folks flying SW.

The backdoor method works for those of you using MACs too.

Since you're looking for DL you might set up a backdoor for that airport so you can check availability. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I was able to follow the link and access the info, but not sure about how to set up the Ding for DL airports...will have to work with it a bit, I guess...I'm just not computer saavy...lol
