Could someone please explain what is going on with my computer??!!

I am getting so frustrated! My browser is constantly getting hijacked to a google page with the following message: Sorry, we couldn't find http://related.boardtracker.com/?boardid. Here are some related websites:

This has been happening very sporadically do it didn't bother me too much but this morning it has been happening every 2 or 3 minutes and it's making me very angry! Could someone who is computer savvy please help me fix this??

It sounds to me as if you got some kind of malware/spyware virus type thing. If I were you I'd first off get a anti virus and run it to see what it finds.

I'd start with this one

Windows Defender

Once you run that then I'd run this as well.

Adaware

thanks for the reply. We already have anti-spyware and anti-virus programs running on our computer so I assumed we were safe from that garbage. It really makes me angry. I consider perpetrators of spyware and viruses to be committing vandalism and I really wish there were a way to prosecute these morons.
