Yep, I have no interest in celebrities political opinions.

The only time I even give their opinions a second thought is when they are actually taking the time to be learned and heavily involved in the issue they are talking about. Like Michael J Fox and Parkinsons.

I don't want to tangent on a separate debate, but I do want to note that there are many celebrities on both sides of the political spectrum who do "take the time to be learned and heavily involved in the issue they are talking about" and let their political opinions eminate from there.

I can appreciate that you personally don't want to hear from any celebrity vis-a-vis politics, period. There are others who do feel otherwise.

You can correctly assume that I'm sick of him, but it really isn't due to his politics, it's just him. Some of his songs make no sense to me and that one were he raps the following line:

We talk about your nana up in muntzi, indiana,
We talk about your grandma down in alabama

Honestly, who writes songs like that? He can't even spell Muncie correct. I cut and pasted those lyrics from his website.

No problem, Disneyfan! Since my radio listening consists entirely of talk radio, outside of the pitch of the singer, I'm not sure I could tell which song are the Dixie Chicks and which is Toby Keith!

Oh, I could not agree more, many actually put their money where their mouth is and are very heavily involved. Some of them are kooks, imo and some say things I may agree with. Either way, celebrity political opinions carry pretty much the same weight with me as the opinions of posters here.

As to the DCs, their rants on stage are hardly what I would call a learned opinion eminating. (as always, just my opinion of it)
