Could someone please explain codes to me...

I was lucky enough to get/add a code for my upcoming trip in Oct/Nov. I had a room only and was able to add dining and a one day park admission for a good rate.

I only knew to do it because others in my grand gathering were doing it. I got lucky...real lucky.

So, now I have plans to go with my nephew in April. We have a room booked at ASMu at a AAA rate. Now that I got a great deal with a code for my Oct/Nov trip, I am hoping for the same for my April trip. So, what do I look for? How do I know when a code will be out? What are codes, anyway?! I have an AP as well, but the rate I got with my AP was no where near the code rate.

Keep an eye on mousesavers.com. They are quick to list new codes or specials. Also, Dis members are very quick to let everyone else know when packages, codes, etc. come out. My advice is to just keep checking the boards for any new discounts. You can also call Disney cro and inquire if you have any offers/pin codes under your household name. These are specific discounts randomly given out by marketing. These codes can only be used by the person receiving the pin code. Good luck!
