Well, the definition of "concierge" is: A hotel employee who attends to the needs of guests, by providing information or making arrangements, such as theater tickets or dinner reservations. Many hotels have a concierge desk located in their lobby where you can get help with reservations, directions, etc.
Concierge at Disney Resorts...some of the Disney Deluxe resorts have what they call "concierge rooms" which are basically a deluxe room with key-card access to a special "concierge lounge" staffed by cast memers who assist you with special requests, reservations, etc. The lounges offer snacks, drinks...sometimes appetizers and adult beverages at no cost, other than the upcharge for staying in a concierge room. It's basically a regular hotel room, that typically has a top-notch view/location, with exclusive asscess to a lounge with free snacks and drinks and staffed by cast members dedicated to assisting you with travel/touring arrangements.
Many of the world's luxury hotels offer similar accomodations/service but refer to it as "club level" or "club service."
