could really use some advice out a possible one day to Harry potter?

I'm coming to Disney and the plan is for my bosses to pick me up at the airport as we are surprinsg their daughter with me taking her to Disney. I am thinking about coming up a few days early and staying 2 nights at an offsite hotel with shuttle to Universal.

I am wondering if there might be a service to and from an offsite hotel for universal? I won't have a car, so just need to be sure i could get there.

I also need hotel suggesetions. I'm likely looking at two nights, but all i want to do is go to harry potter i think so I don't really care what the hotel is like.

Is it doable to do Harry Potter in one day? I honestly don't really know what all is there in terms of universal studios.

I'm wondering if I could catch a really early flight to florida, go to the hotel then on to Islands of Adventure for HP then back to the hotel that night and check out early the next morning and head to disney (or back to the airport. I have my heart set on surprising her at the airport). Or is that totally not doable?

since you are going for July 4th and 5th, it would be a sweeter visit to universal if you stayed on site.
you could use the express lines for rides and you would get the one hour early entry to the park.
that alone would come in handy since you want to concentrate on parry hotter ville.

you should contact the hotels you might stay at and ask them.
also ask about their scheduling to and from the hotel to the parks.

if the hotel does not offer a shuttle, take a taxi.

use the search button and see some of the other threads where off site hotels have been discussed.

Double tree is popular with many staying off site.
they have a shuttle and it is close to the parks.
you could walk to the park in about 15 minutes, maybe a tad longer.

expect large crowds in the parks that day..........

see what else is there that you could do.
i'm sure you will find many other things to do besides the one section at IOA.

i guess it depends on your flight time coming into Orlando.
and, if you stay off site, figure out your transportation mode prior to arrival.
better off catching a taxi if you want to follow the above plan.

you will lose time at the parks if you do not have an early arrival into MCO.
you might be better off doing universal for 2 days before you go to the motherland.

i was confused by your post in the beginning, but i think i understand it all now.

you are going to be picked up by your boss and his daughter at MCO.
they are going to drop you off at an offsite hotel near Universal.

or, you are going to return to MCO and have the boss pick you up there.

you'll spend one or two days there and then go to disney to take the girl to that park.

right or wrong?
