I have four cats.#1 is nine and has always been a family cat(she loves me and my DS, but wants nothing to do with other people or animals. #2 is a 3 year old Bengal and he has always been social, and very playful and happy. #3 and #4 are 12 week old kittens we got September 13.
Cat #1 is her normal reclusive self. She still sleeps with me and eats well, etc.
Cat #2 seemed mad at first, but then started playing with the kittens and acting fairly normal. Yesterday, he started acting differently. He is not coming into the same room with the kittens, and is lying around a lot. He's not eating that I can see, and I don't even know if he is drinking. He is basically just lying around looking sad.
Of course, now I am sad. I don't know if he is depressed or if he could be sick. He was our "baby" before the kittens came, but he has still been getting lots of attention until he started withdrawing like this. Now, he will either just sit or lay on the bed or make loud yeows! I am planning on taking him to the vet tomorrow if he isn't acting differently this afternoon.
Any advice?
Marsha

Let us know what the vet says.
You're a great Kitty mom, Marsha.
