Could I Get A Great Rate At The Swan Again?

Hi Gang

In June 2003 we stayed at the Swan in a club level room for $189 per night through Dreams Unlimited. We qualified for a CAA/AAA discount. When I search the Westin and Dreams Unlimited site for next June I'm seeing prices in the upper $300's for the same type of room we had the last time!!! :-(

There's no way we could afford $380 per night. I guess I'm really frustrated in that I can't get close to the same rate as before. I could see a bit of an increase but double??!!

Any advice anyone??

Hopefully the S/D will release 2005 discounts soon. I have always found some of the best S/D rates via Dreams, but I understand you don't always get Starwood Points that way. (Seems like Starwood is trying to only give points when they book!)

If you are a starwood preferred guest, I just tried to get Swan for one night 12/25 and got an internet special rate of 135.00. I was surprised, because that is less than the 149.00 I got with teachers discount last year for 5 nights at the same time. You must pay in full with the internet and no refunds. It was under special offers on spg.com
