My brother and I applied for jobs at Disney and were given different info, so I came here to get the straight answer.

I was told that Disney was interested in hiring me but there were no available positions and that every 30 days to call give a reference number and keep my application open.

My brother was told that they had no positions that they could hire him for and said that he didn't need to apply again for another six months.

We asked the casting person at the desk and he said they keep applications for 90 days.

So, how long do they keep the applications?

On another subject, my brother has a learning disability and when he tried to explain to the interviewer about the disability the guy said that all positions required reading and he didn't qaulify for anything. He wouldn't even let my brother finish speaking. Is there somewhere people with disabilites need to go or was this guy right?

I hate to say it, but I think your brother may have been discriminated against. Not by the company, but by an ignorant recruiter. I worked at Disney and knew a few international CPs whose english skills were less than stellar, yet they were hired by Disney. There are things for your brother to do, even if it means working in the kitchen or in costuming. I don't really recall reading anything on the job, all I can remember is reading the computer during the training. They instruct you how to do things with spoken words.
