Could I be pregnant?- updated with the answer :)

OMG- I wouldn't have placed money on that bet! Congrats! Does DH know yet?
We have 3 boys & it's a lot of fun:thumbsup2 (no idea about 4- but hey-if it's 'meant to be')

Congrats to you. They say (I'm not sure who 'they' is) that gonig from 1 kid to 2 is HARD, from 2 to 3 is much harder, then after that you really don't realize!!!!! LOL! I'd say continue with the adoption, you never know what life has waiting around the corner. Hopefully you won't miscarry, but a wonderful story to tell you kids one day...we thought we were giving you ONE little sister, instead you got a sister and a baby ____!!!!!!

As for telling your dh....think of something fun as I'm sure this will be your last....maybe go to TDS and get a baby onsie, or t-shirts for all the kids, the 2 boys in their sizes, 1 for the little girl, and a baby one...see how long it takes him to figure it out!!! LOL!

Good Luck! Keep us posted!

I told him. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I think he thought I was kidding at first and then he just started laughing. Probably out of sheer fear- ha! But he told me he loves me many times and said it was going to be okay.

I told him I didn't even want to talk about the adoption yet and he was fine with that. We have worked for over a year on this adoption- paperwork, homestudy, more paperwork, etc. We'll just wait and see. I did check with my adoption agency and we can still adopt from China even with this new baby on the way. We've just gotten on the "wait list" so we have a few years (at least) until we would even get a referral anyways.

I just feel so much better. I saw the nurse at my OBGYN this afternoon and asked her if I was more likely to miscarry because I had been on the pill for 3 weeks. She said no, so that is good news. I will be 35 when I have this baby so that is a little older and does come with a few more possible complications, but my first two pregnancies were pretty normal. (Both c-sections, though... I make big babies 9lbs 5oz was the first!)

I'm a teacher so I'm off for the summer now. I'm just going to try to enjoy this time with my little boys and we'll see what it's like having three this winter!

Thanks again to everyone for all the kind words.

Congratulations!:goodvibes :goodvibes

I guess you really don't have to worry about having your period at Disney now! :rotfl:

So glad you told him! Sounds like your hubby is an awesome guy. I can imagine the 'shock' but it will all be ok. Enjoy your summer with your boys! My dil is due in December with our first grandbaby and we are all so excited. Again, congrats!

(I wish I knew how to quote someone...) Maggie'sMom you are correct, I don't have to worry about having my period in Disney now! I can't believe I'm pregnant because of DISNEY! Really. If we weren't going to Disney this would have never happened. Now I just have to worry about all the rides I can't go on! I know the boys would be so disappointed if we rescheduled, so we're still going to go. I was just really looking forward to riding EE, BTMR, and Splash Mountain with my oldest. We've been watching u-tube videos for months! Daddy will just have to go with him!

Hiya

congratulations!!

I had to cancel my September trip as I will be too many weeks pregnant to fly trans atlantic, good news is we are going for babys first Christmas

hope you have a good and stress free pregnancy

Congratulations! :cool1:

I went to Disney pregnant with number 3. My youngest (now middle) and I had a nice time while Daddy and oldest rode the big rides!

Talk with your doctor about that. You may be able to go on more than you think. That little one is protected pretty well in there. I think a lot of the rides will have signs saying pregnant women shouldn't ride as more of a liability-thing than really being something that could create an issue. But then again, I was pretty laid-back about my pregnancy. My doctor was very pragmatic. His view was a lot of stuff didn't have to be off limits as long as I didn't overdo it.

So, will the little one's middle name be Disney? LOL! I think you need to somehow honor the reason for his/her conception!

As for rides, I hope you aren't like I was when I was pregnant. I knew I was pregnant with DS#2 just five days after conception because I got on a Merry Go Round ride at a local amusement park and nearly ended up tossing my cookies! I never get motion sickness until I'm pregnant...then I have it for 9 months!

Have you been on the rides before? If you aren't really showing much when you go, I think a lot of them would be fine. I think the issue would become more an issue of when your belly would be banged around by the restraints.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll still have a great vacation!

You have plenty of time to decide what to do. Don't pull your paperwork from China. Like you said, it will be a long wait anyway so no rush decisions need to be made.

Congratulations!

So, will the little one's middle name be Disney?

Maybe Walt if it's a boy :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!
Wishing you a WONDERFUL, uneventful Pregnancy and Loads of health and happiness!!!
PS: I think this very blessed child should have some kind of reference to Disney in his/her name, LOL!!!

I went to Universal last year in April I was 8 weeks pregnant and I am a bit of a high risk pregnancy, you will be able to go on more than you think. Tips stay hydrated wear really good walking shoes and take breaks when necessary.

Just ask your doctor and be honest with him.

I agree! I am smiling reading your posts. You both sound like a great couple.

just wanted to say congrats! I'm 31 without any children yet but I have got the baby bug like crazy lately and cannot wait to start a family with my DH... lately I've been realizing that if we could afford it I would probably want to have a big family... at least 3 children but I don't think that is in the cards for us as DH and I are both a little older already (he's 40) and I want to be a stay at home mom.

good luck with your decision no matter what it is!

Congratulations! My 3rd was a surprise, but our family wouldn't be the same without her. You will enjoy having 3 trust me!

Four is not so bad. Just check out my signature! :scared1: Our fourth was a total suprise. After 3 the rest are just along for the ride and aren't that much harder. I know what you mean about big babies. My smallest was 9 lb 1 oz and biggest was 9 lb 10 oz an no C-sections with any of them. Congratulations and enjoy the summer with your boys. Let us know if you find out the gender of this one.
