Could Frozen go the same way as Stitch?

Frozen was a good movie and we enjoyed it. But I have to wonder how much of its success was due to the terrible winter. It just seemed to fit the winter, KWIM? Remember those Frozen remixes on Youtube about the snow and the cold last winter? In my mind when I think of the horrible winter of 2014 and Chiberria, I will remember Frozen the movie, too.

I think Frozen is going to be huge for another 1 1/2 to 2 years and then they will fade in with the other princesses.

From what I've seen Frozen has been huge with preschoolers. Older girls (8+) just don't seem to be into it. It may be different for others but in my area anything Frozen related for 3rd grade and up is "babyish."

DD is 8 and we watched in the theater. She saw it on DVD twice at home. She sang the songs for a few weeks. And then nothing. She wants no Frozen dolls, no clothes, no bookbag. She told me it's for babies. Yet she has tons of Ariel stuff. Can't wait to see the new Cinderella movie. We still watch Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and other princess movies regularly at home.
