I mean, full removal of FP machines and everything. As of now, you can book FP+ 60 days in advance, and I think they will give people at least 60 days notice to let them know FP+ will be the sole distributor of FP for the parks...so, I would expect at least 4 months from whenever that decision is announced.
I don't expect them to say in February that March 1 things will be live.
Maybe a January (New Years Eve announcement on ABC) announcement that things will go live in April or May.
I would be SHOCKED if they try and cram this in before the Christmas and New Years rush. Not impossible, but I'd be pretty surprised.
I would be as well. They are having problems with the system still. For the plain vanilla traveller with a standard set of entitlements, there are slim to no issues but outside those guests, there are lots of kinks in the system.
They are also going to have to up the quality of wifi in the parks for the guests and themselves. It has been rare that someone with a handheld scanner can actually scan things the first time or read the bands when they do get it scanned. And often when its is it up, it ends up in the never ending cycle of processing.
