Assuming it's a new purchasebut not for renewals.Originally posted by mickey7861
It starts the first day it is used.
The other situations that makes sense buying ahead are when you can get a discount you would not be able to get otherwise, like AAA. Since it's been awhile since I bought a seasonal or annual pass, do you need to buy those vouchers at the parks or can you buy them at the resort now.Originally posted by Caskbill
Buying an AP (or PAP) voucher ahead of time and then exchanging it in at the theme park for the real pass (and first day use) makes sense only if you know (or expect) there will be a price increase between the two dates.
When you buy the voucher, you lock in the price now (and pay the $$$'s now), but avoid any price increase that may take place between the voucher purchase and the prices in effect the day you activate the vouchers.
