Has any one tried it? I'm thinking about downloading the app for my iphone has any one use it is it worth it?

Thanks!

I completed it in the summer and am now signed up for the princess 1/2. I loved it, its very doable and the app makes it so easy to follow. Loved that I could play my music in the background also! The most important thing is to prioritize your time so you will do the runs. Its a GREAT program.

I actually liked the running/walking combo, so decided when I started to train for the 1/2 to do the Galloway method.

Good luck, WELL worth the $$.

LOVE IT! I have done it 3 times- the first just to start running, and the 2nd and 3rd to better my time...
You won't regret it!

it's fantastic!!! I was a "non runner" (still am, I swear) and it's such a lovely gradual intro into running. And then, after you complete it, you can download the C2 10k!!! Before you know it, you'll be signing up for these crazy 1/2 marathons too, lol!

Do it! I started with C25K two years ago. After completing the program I kept running three times a week. I've done three half marathons over the last year and am training for a full in April.

Even if your goal is not to starting running distance races, it's a great starter program.

Do it!

I started it, stopped it because of injury (wasn't taking my rest days, and didn't get good running shoes).

I started it again at New Years, but have stopped because I had a sick kid for 2 weeks. I'm starting up again, today after work, in fact!

It's a good program. I find that the music I listen to helps me be inspired to run as well, especially if I'm treadmill running.

Good luck!

It's great and super convenient. The app dings when you need to run/walk, makes the training intervals a no-brainer. Highly recommended.

I just started it in late Dec - I've never been a runner. Always hated it b/c I was no good at it. This program is really easy. I had to do week 1 twice b/c I was so out of shape. But I'm happy to report that I'm on week 4 and so shocked that I can move up to the next week so easily. I am very excited! I'm hoping to do the neighborhood 5K in April.

I have a question....I am in week four, but I am not ready to run as long as it instructs. Can I do week three again, or just run as long as I can?

Repeat the week then move on. I found sometimes I didn't think I was ready to go to next week, but I tried and was. Nothing wrong with repeating a week though!

I just downloaded it. I have a list of 11 things to do in 2011. One is to run a 5k! DH is an avid runner. On our first day of training he was like "just run 2 miles without stopping". :rotfl2: ya, right. I think I'll try couch to 5k instead.

It is a great program - I just finished week 4 and I am debating whether to move on to week 5 or repeat week 4. The 5 minute runs for hard for me, but I did make it through. My next workout is Monday, so I guess i have to decide before than. I plan on doing my first 5k on March 26th.

Two miles running with out stopping....ha ha ha! I don't know if I will ever be able to do that!

I did have to repeat week four. I am VERY new to running LOL, but I am getting better! I am going to try week five this week.

I never used the app (wasn't there a few years ago) but I used podcasts. Made it much easier to follow the program. I definitely repeated things. I know I repeated week 4. I know I went back adn did week 4 for distance a bit after that. I took a log time to complete c25k. But now 2.5 years later (with starts and stops) I am so glad I started! I found my body really didn't like running straight, so I found Galloway and now run/walk. I still do 2 miles during the week, and 3 miles on the weekends. Looking toward the princess half in 2012! good luck!

I'm doing day 2 of week 5 tomorrow! We can be week 5 buddies!

I need a buddy - my day 2 for week 5 is tomorrow and I'm scared :scared1: - but I'm also excited to prove to myself that I can do it. I'm gonna do what I can do and go from there, even if I have to repeat the day.

Let me know how your day 2 goes! Good Luck!

Tammy
