Cotton Blossom from B&BW being discontinued

You know, this is about the 10th scent that I've loved that they've discontinued!!!! I am getting tired of it!!!! I find a new scent that I love and they shut me down!!

I know!! I used to love Juniper Breeze and Tangerine Spice and they discontinued both of them as well!

I just noticed in the product description where it says they're bringing back many of the all-time favorites online. So, if you have a favorite that was discontinued, check the website. You might find it again!

I really like Cotton Blossom, it has a slight orange smell to it that reminds me of Florida. Same kind of undercurrent that White Shoulders has. Sea Island Cotton is lighter, it reminds me of baby powder (with a toddler, I'm often inadvertently smelling like that, but that's another story!). Hopefully it'll be back along with Honeysuckle during the twice a year sale.

Hey all... I started working at B&BW about a month and a half ago and believe me, you all aren't the only ones who get upset about things being discontinued; I hear from people every day who're looking for things that aren't there anymore (and one of my fondest dreams is for them to bring back Limelight, which has been gone for 10 or 11 years and which no one has ever heard of, so I feel your pain!) Several of the ones that've been mentioned in this thread are available as "Classics" online, and the ones that someone else mentioned (Magnolia Blossom, Tropical Passionfruit, Pink Grapefruit, Gardenia, White Cherry Blossom, Exotic Coconut) are currently $5 apiece (except for shimmer lotions and EDTs); my brother's girlfriend likes PG, so I got a bunch for her, and my mom likes Gardenia, too, so she'll be getting a lot of that for Christmas.

The Classics that can be found online now are:

Flowering Herbs
Green Clover & Aloe
Lemongrass Sage
Green Tea and Cucumber
Rice Flower and Shea
Strawberry Lemonade
Coco Cabana
Waterblossom Ivy (one of my favorites)
Cool Citrus Basil
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
Creamy Coconut

Some of us are holding out hope that someday they'll bring back something different as a "classic," since some of these were never that popular to begin with and have been around for more than a few years. There are so many other good scents that would be well-received!

And if you don't want to wait till the SAS to get anything else that may've been recently discontinued, it never hurts to ask an SA when you're in the store. I handle stock for my store, which I love because I get to see things first when they come in , and if something interesting comes in but hasn't been put in storage yet for the sale and a customer asks for it, I have no problem with going in the back and digging it out. I know what it feels like to look and look for something and never be able to find it!

Oh, and supposedly there's a rumor going around that creamy body washes (all scents) and/or bubble bath (all scents) and possibly Mango Mandarin could be getting the axe at some point. I have recently fallen completely in love with MM, so I've been loading up in anticipation.

Now for the good news! The sale flyers came in in the shipment yesterday, so here's a little heads up on what the early specials will be (all are for the 1st 4 days only, Dec. 27-30):

Dd8 & I love that store and just went last week to stock up. Every morning we each use a different scent and then sniff each other. Today I smell like Vanilla Beane!

Pink Grapefruit, Tropical Passionfruit, and Exotic Coconut all just came out not too long ago! And they're some of my favourites!

Me too!!!! And I used to love Red Currant and Thyme Tea.

My new favorties are Wild Honeysuckle and Sparkling Peach.

Mango Mandarin too?!! They're discontinuing all of my favourite scents. If they get rid of Warm Vanilla Sugar and Midnight Pomegranate, I'm done. And I use the creamy body wash, too. I'm not very happy with Bath & Body Works right now.

I LOVE Pink Grapefruit, and I've heard conflicting stories about it's fate from the store associates, though usually once I start liking a scent it gets discontinued.

Oh no not Pink Grapefruit I also used to like the Green Tea and Ginger, I think that was it. Shame I can only stock up once or maybe twice a year when we visit the US

Junie~ Every time I see Juniper Breeze, I think of you. I remember the time that you posted about being at work and having to go home to shower because of JB's body splash; something about it smelling like urine. Well, Lysol is a major improvement over urine.

Juniper Breeze was my fave, until we went out to dinner with my husbands nephew, (who I was sitting next to) and he kept saying he smelled the men's room, and wanted to have our table changed. I stayed mum..........(we weren't that close to the bathrooms) we did get moved to another table, since he said he would become ill if he had to smell that 'awful mens' room', I sat on the other side of the table, now his sister could smell it...I haven't worn it since, cause everytime I smell it, it reminds me of those drop in the urinal things that are in porta-potties

I think that you and Junie may be on to something here with the weird "urine" smell. Maybe that's the reason it was discontinued.
