We are staying at POP in April 2008 and there will be 4 of us in the room (me, DH, DS10 and my BIL). Do they have cots available??? I didn't think to ask the last time I called. There is no way me, DH and DS10 can fit into 1 bed. It would be so much easier if we can get a cot for DS10 to sleep in.

Has anyone been able to get one? and if you did do you reserve one ahead of time or do you just ask at check in.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

We took our own aero bed and asked for extra sheets and pillow. It worked out nicely. We move the small table next to the bed by the door. We had plenty of room. 2 17 year olds, 1 15 year old and me (mom)

What a great idea with the air mattress! We will definitely be using that idea. My son will be thrilled!

If you don't want to buy an air mattress (although with a 10 year old boy, it would be a great investment), PM me and I'll loan you ours for your trip. You wold just have to pay the postage for it. We have one and use it very rarely.

Thanks disnut8. I had recently purchased and air mattress for holiday company. At first I didnt want to buy it knowing that I would use it for the Holiday's and then it would go in the closet, but now thanks to your great idea, I will be using it whenever we go to Disney.
That was very nice and thoughful of you. :goodvibes

I always resisted getting an air mattress but one was given to us. I did find it impossible to get the darn thing back into the box for storage, though. So I have it in a sealed plastic bag with a handle. I put in a cheap sheet and pillowcase too so there's no need to hunt around for anything when you need it. If I need the mattress, I just pull that out and it's all ready to go.

I usually go to ocean state job lot and pick up a twin size air mattress for about $8 to use at disney and then I just toss it when we leave, it's much cheaper than renting a cot for $15 a night from the resort(if they have one) and that also means there is room in my bag for stuff we have bought while on vacation.
