Costumes for mickey's halloween party

We will be in disney for halloween and will be doing Mickey Party. Does anyone have any idea how to make Twidle Dee and Twidle Dum costume. Any ideas would be welcomed, also someone wants to be the Mad Hatter. I am able to sew but not sure where to start on this project. Alice will be easy. I think I need to start planning now to be done in time for our trip. thanks

Have you checked the pattern books at your local fabric store? Even if they aren't out yet, I bet Alice and the gang patterns will be available very soon with the release of the movie almost here.

we just did an alice in wonderland theme. For tweedle dum/dee. I got red sweat pants and a yellow shirt for my son. I made him 'fat' by stuffing him with pillows in his pants & shirt. I used white felt to cut the triangle collar (i used velcro to attach it). i used a blue ribbon to cut the bowtie & glued it on the felt. We bought a red beanie cap that he wore. It was very cute. (mad hatter & alice we bought). We made an Ace of hearts and my baby was the caterpillar (also bought)
