Costumes at WDW

Any one that has read previous (Disneyland Paris) trip reports of mine knows I love to get DD costumes! Our first trip she was only 6 months and Cinderella and snow white on our second trip she had a large wardrobe full rapunzel, belle, Minnie, aurora.

What I want to know if any one had noticed what size the costumes start in WDW? DD seems to be at the in between age now and I am struggling to find ones in her size! I have noticed on eBay a few US sellers have Disney park costumes size 1-2 so I just wondered if some one coul tell me if they had noticed them that small in WDW

Thank you from what I am reading on the Disney store.com the US sizes measure quiet small so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a few costumes whilst there it ask mum who is going to DL in May might be able to pick me a few up

I thought 2-3 was the smallest. Think they are 2-3,4-5, 6, 7-8.

I always think they run small. Also they are supposed to be calf not ankle length.

I usually buy DD one in next size and then she can wear it for a couple of years.

If you keep a watch on ebay you sometimes see the park dresses come up in nearly new condition.

Has a peek on ebay - there is an xs cinderella on age 4-5. 2-3 will be xxs.

According to disneystore.com size 2 is age 1-2 size 3 is 2-3 and so on.

The sizes in our disneystore seem really big to me.

My youngest DD is 4 and the 3-4 in the Disney Store is too small but the 5-6 is too big. I have just won a Disney World Sleeping Beauty dress on Ebay, size 4-5, so I hope that will be around the right size.

Hopefully the when she is almost 2 the size 2 will fit she is so small though bless her she almost 14 months old and at the moment is wearing all 3-6 months clothes x

The opposite of my DD

She is very tall for her age - turned 6 in January and needs 8 or 9 yr old clothes.

If you are struggling to get exactly what you need then some sellers on etsy or ebay.com custom make stuff for disney - try looking for custom boutique, custom disney etc.

Oh no i found some amazing things on here Will need to get Hubby a second job I dont have time admiring all these dresses lol!

If it helps TK Maxx has some lovely costumes for sale. Not Disney but my Niece got a couple of beautiful ones from there. One looks very close to Cindys dress. They look every bit as good if not better than some of the disney ones I have seen. Came with accesories as well.

Keep an eye out on ebay.com for resell/resale.

When DD was smaller I used to get her custom disney clothes resale and then sell them on again.

(or be good at sewing - not my forte at all unfortunately)
