Costumes at CRT for Dinner?

Do many children dress up for CRT (dinner)? I was ordering some Disney t-shirts last night and just mentioned to my DD (9) that it would be fun if she and my DS (6) dressed up for our dinner at CRT. I expected her to say "NO WAY" as she is somewhat of a tomboy but she actually thought it would be really fun! So we ordered her a Belle costume and my DS a Captain Jack pirate costume. Will they feel out of place? Our reservation isn't until 8:25 pm, so I may just bring the costumes with to change into right before the meal as we want to watch the parade and wishes before. Also, we are celebrating my DD's early birthday...is there something special that I can arrange for her such as a cake? Thoughts?

I ate there for breakfast and dinner on our honeymoon and there were plenty of children dressed up ~ they had a better time I think!

There is sure to be a cake or something you can order, just call them!

When we were recently there....

There were many children in costumes the majority of them being little girls in their princess dresses. We actually noticed this and was surprised by how much time and energy was put into some of these!

As far as special cakes ... I believe they bring out a cupcake with a candle in it for birthdays, but you can also order the Slipper dessert, and it may be possible to order a full cake?

Go for the costumes! We didn't the first time we went and dd felt left out. Now she usually wears a tank or white t-shirt and shorts and we put the costume on over her clothes so she can be more comfortable while in the park.
BTW, the costumes will look great in the photo w/Cinderella

bring them! it is lots of fun for the kids to dress up, but agree they may not want to wear them all day

you can rent a locker for the day when you first enter, and not have to carry them around while you tour
