Some of you may have read my previous dilemma post about a costume for my dd (haven't even thought about ds yet). She wanted to be Jasmine or something like that, but I didn't think the costumes would be real comfortable on rides and such. Today we found these at Old Navy...

and dd loves them. I was thinking we could dress them up with something cute, to be a fairy princess type outfit. Glitter in the hair and on her face, etc. Any ideas on what to wear with them? I was thinking some kind of skort would be good and comfy, but not sure what to do.

Thanks!

How about The Blue Fairy with a little magic wand and some Pixie Dust to share with others.Sorry being a man even with a little kids heart I'm not to great on picking things for a girl to wear.So if this a lame idea I'm sorry,I do like the Blue Fairy though.::yes:: :wave2:

would be cute. She could wear a plain blue nightgown to be the Blue fairy. Not sure how you would do Meriweather. She could just go as a fairy, they are magical all the time :) An easy fairy costume would be a pair of shorts with belt loops and then go get about a 1/4 yard of two or three sheer fabrics and some no fray edge treatment and a cheap clear or white belt. Cut the fabrics into strips (about 6 inches wide and long enough to hang to her knees)and treat the edges with the no fray. Tie one end of the fabric strips around the belt and let the other end hang loose. She can then wear a coordinating shirt and the wings. A light blue, a dark blue and white would go great together! The belt will give her a 'skirt' look over the tops of the shorts. We've done this and it turns out really cute!

Good Luck!
