I'm looking for some good, creative, cheap ideas for Halloween costumes.

My DP and I have friends in Chicago who have a big Halloween party every year, and we want to surprise them by showing up this year!

But 2 important things:

1) We're on a budget, so the cheaper the better!

2) We want to be "incognito" when we show up at the party so the hosts don't know who we are right away!

We just need a little help because we haven't had any great ideas yet!
Thanks!

Sorry I can't help. I'm just subscribing because I need ideas too. We have friends that have a party every year and I'm running out of ideas. We got so desperate last year that we rented costumes - only @ $20 a costume- cheaper than buying.

I guess you could just get something w/ a mask. Friends of ours did hippies with wigs and sunglasses and I had no idea who they were. The wife was a brunette and wore a blonde curly wig.

Hope you get some good ideas :)
