this past April when we went from home (Ohio) to Chicago, Illinois we were shocked to see how much we spent in toll roads. It was $40 each way and it was only a 5 hr. trip. Not sure where to go to find out how much toll roads will be IF we decided to drive. I'd like to consider that when considering our travel. anybody know where I can find accurate info on that? thanks~

I haven't found one site to do this, but Google maps will indicate toll roads when you do directions, then you can go to the local site for that portion and look up the tolls. Depending on where you are in Ohio,( i.e. do you need to take the Turnpike?), you can get to WDW and not hit tolls til you get closer to Orlando. Basically, you can take I-75 and you hit the toll roads til below Ocala (91 to I-4 or 429 depending on your final destination)

Here's a link for the Florida Turnpike info (toll calculator, maps, etc)

I think in total it would be $5 or so.

There are no toll roads between Ohio and Florida if you use I-75. If you come down via West Virgina, there is the West Virgina Turnpike.

As stated above, once you get to Florida there are several toll roads getting into and around Orlando. These tolls would be very nominal compared to what you encountered driving to Chicago.
