I just found out that my employer is having a Costco night where I can shop without a membership. Does anyone know if they have discounted Disney gift cards? If so, how much are they?
From multiple threads over time and my own experience Costco doesn't have Disney gift cards..however Sams does from what other posters have said. Please let us know however if you end up finding out that they do.
Unfortunately they don't. My costco has California kitchen, american girl, spa finder & pf changs. There is probably more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. They are all $79.00 for $100's worth
Costco is awesome. Gift cards or not. I'd totally go. I buy a lot of staples there, (butter milk and especially meat), dog food and they have tons of great Christmas gifts.

I too think it would be worth it. At least as it is a free night to check it out. We buy our toilet paper there and paper towels, trash bags, chicken, milk, etc.
Our stores are slim pickings for Christmas decor right now. People start buying that stuff in early October so what they have left is mostly like bows, a few garland stuff, etc. Now as for toys and such that they still have plenty of and oh my those teddy bears are huge (great for kids to snuggle up on).
Didn't they just do that though in early September? And that have to be purchased by December 1st...so really though it's a limited time deal to get people in DLR versus a normal we sell Disney gift cards (which is what the OP was asking about) versus a discounted pass type thing.

Well, honestly, I wasn't paying that much attention. We have socal resident passes so I didn't study the details. They had them a week or two ago when I was there last, but I haven't looked since then.
Back to the OP, this thread is several weeks old so I don't know if your Costco night's already passed, but if not I'd go just to buy Costco gift cards.
Even if you don't have a membership, if you're holding a Costco gift card, you're entitled to shop at the warehouse. You can also use the gift cards for gas at Costco's gas stations. I find Costco's gas is always $0.25-0.30/gallon cheaper than the nearby big brand gas stations. If you have a Chase Freedom card, use that to pay at Costco to get 5% back on your purchase this quarter.
Our Costco gas is usually 10 cents to 20 cents cheaper; sometimes only 5 cents cheaper. It's extremely rare for the gas to be 25 to 30 cents cheaper for our two store locations on my side of the state line in my area. So the gas savings will def. vary by location with a lot of variables coming into play.
QuikTrip is king around me and they are usually competitive with gas pricing so that does impact Costco pricing. BP isn't as commonly used nor is Shell they are around just not like QuikTrip is. Aside from QuikTrip, Phillips/Conoco 66 is probably the next cheapest (not counting in Costco). 7-11 is also near us but only a handful of locations (many went away).
