Am I the only person who spends a billion dollars every time they go in there? I did a big shop today and I have to tell you that I could literally have bought even more. I just love shopping there! Anyone else?:cutie:

Love Costco! I went today for a "few things" and spent almost $400.00 which seems to be around what I usually spend. By the way, I didn't get everything that I wanted because my mother was with me :rotfl2:.

We just moved to an area with NO Costcos. Let me tell you, BJs just does not cut it! I miss the pizza and the churros!!

I went there a couple of days ago and spent $441 and only got half of what I needed.

They need larger shopping carts. :lmao:

Well, now I feel positively frugal! :) My Costco exit fee is usually less than $200!

It never fails, I always spend a ton of money at Costco. I'm the one walking away from the register scanning my receipt trying to figure out what the HECK I could have bought for all that money!:rotfl2:

They do have great stuff and as I always tell my husband I bought a lot of meat, that adds up!:lmao:

Count me in! The same thing happens at Target...I go in for one thing and come out with a cart full of stuff. :lmao:

I go there for the snacks and finish up with desert.... a !.50 polish and pop.:rotfl:

That's why I let my membership lapse. I was spending way too much. Although this time of year is when I really need it! All those great holiday things- the big packs of juice, water, snacks....... well maybe I should rejoin.:confused3 It's just a touch too far.

Those samples are so yummy yet so terrible at the same time. I went yesterday with my mom. We tried coffee cake and will be buying it once the official school year starts and I go back to work. We tried sausage and will be getting that the next time we go (we did a quick run through yesterday for needed materials only - milk and such because of the crowds from Labor Day BBQ purchases). Then we tried burritos ... but alas, no room in the freezer at this moment.

Love their Kirkland stuff too ... yummy Winnie the Pooh cookies, the chocolate chip cookies, and their sesame seed bagels.

And how terrible is it that the Italian sausage sandwich and their pizza and their berry smoothies ... they all taste so good and are right there at low prices on your way out?!?

Oh, just today...!!!

We have enough Muenster cheese to make a grilled cheese for every person in the state of Rhode Island. :rotfl:

Need a red Solo cup? We've got about 5000 now. :woohoo:

How about a Welch's Fruit Bar? We've got 48 of them in our freezer. 12 grape, 12 strawberry, 12 lemon, and 12 orange! :thumbsup2

Would you like an Eggo waffle? Please come on over and have one. I'm giving them away, because we now have a box of them that takes up 2/3 of our freezer! :headache:

Seriously though, I LOVE Costco. Especially the free samples!!! :goodvibes

My worst day, other than leather Natuzzi furniture trip, was $650. I never get out without spending a lot. But it is great things and I leave happy.

We go to Sam's, since our closest Costco is 40 minutes. But the outcome is still the same. It is a dangerous place--You find stuff you never knew you needed;)

I have to say, without a doubt, Costco is my favorite store:woohoo: As a matter of fact I am going today:goodvibes

I used to go to Costco back when we lived in IL, 3+ years ago. Once we moved to Florida I was so excited they had BJ's so I joined that. Now I am thinking of switching back to Costco when we move to NH. I remember that I like the meat from Costco better than BJ's I think.

Can't go to Costco without spending less than $200. You never know what you'll find when you go there. There's always something. And I always go to Costco hungry, I enjoy the free samples they have set up very conveniently around the store.

We actually have some really nice Costcos and Sams Clubs down here in Mexico City. We do like the Costco better.
Typically we go once at the beginning of the month to stock up. Because we are on a pretty tight budget, we try to spend less than $200 dollars each month. I can easily see how you could spend more, though. There are always so many things that would be nice to get.

I love to people watch.. Have you ever watched what others buy, and wondered what they were going to do.

Yesterday, I saw a couple w/ 12 of those big big containers of almonds. I couldn't help but wonder what the heck they were going to do with them:laughing:

wish me luck - I just need a few things this trip. last time I said that, I walked out of there with 3 new suitcases :rotfl: Our old ones are starting to fall apart and it was time. but still.... buying suitcases without a trip on the books was rough.

DH is NOT coming with me, which will help. He always ventures down the aisles I skip and finds important must have stuff.
