Costco refills printer ink cartridges

I was there the other day and the guy at the exit door handed me a card about it but I lost it. I think he said it was $8 to refill.

Black $7.99 color $9.99. There is a $2 off per cartridge coupon right now. I just got mine done for the first time. I was skeptical until I read a full blog about it online.

I don't do refills, but I did order these from Costco Innovera 02 for $6.69 each color and $7.59 for black, and they work great.

The refill program is just rolling out in the Northeast. My Costco just started today.

i will try costco ink refill's .... i have been buying new everytime lately after walgreens messed up my cartdriges twice and i have to buy new ones anyways....

I have - like the printer doesn't recognize that the cartridge has been refilled. I bet it's something about the printer manufacturer - they want a new OEM cartridge, not a refilled one.

That happened to me too on a HP printer that I actually bought at Costco. I didn't think that the cartridge being refilled was the problem, I just had a non-working printer, so I returned it to Costco and bought a cheapy Canon at WalMart. So far so good with it!

that's exactly the printer I have (a HP one). So, maybe it's just HP. I'm trying to remember if I had the same problem with the Lexmark one but I don't remember. Anyhow, it still prints fine, just keeps on telling me I'm low on ink when I'm not so I close that "warning".

The first time that I tried to refill it said that it was not an OEM cartridge and I just knew that is why I didn't want to try refills in the 1st place; however, when I stormed into Costco frustrated that it didn't work he told me he was sure that the chip on the cartridge wasn't programmed correctly (HP) so he said either he would refund my money or I could try again. Since he was so certain that is what it was I tried it and sure enough he was right, I have refilled with Costco ever since and had nothing but good luck!
