Costco Package - removing 1 room

I booked a Costco package with 3 rooms and 6 day base tickets for 5 travelers. I needed to cancel 1 room which was easy with Costco - they removed the room and now it shows 2 rooms but it still shows tickets for all 5 travelers. The tickets for the individuals that were canceled are showing as transferrable on my friends and family page. Has anyone ever had to cancel a room other than their own through Costco and what happened to the tickets? If the tickets are truly transferable then I will just use them at another date and pay the difference with Disney .
