Costco near Disney

We are a huge Costco family!

After years of meaning to search for the nearest Costco to WDW, our little guy, also known as the genius around here, just asked us, "Hey Momma, why don't we ever go to Costco when we are at the castle?"

I just finally checked, and the nearest Costco is at 2102 Waterbridge Blvd, Orlando. It is showing only 11 mins from AKL!

We eat pretty much all meals in our villa now (love it!), and so we do our shopping at various places: Winn-Dixie, Publix, Super Target and Super Walmart (the new one down Palm Parkway is great!), but we do miss our Costco when we are at Disney.

I'm sure there are those of you who shop there, so is it this close, and what else is in that area?

We shopped there once before. We hate to be away from Disney property so we just went there and really didn't look around the area.

We're going to Orlando for two weeks this summer (sadly, were staying non DVC this trip), so Costco is high on our list.

There no better store for household groceries and goods than Costo in my opinion!

I will report back once we return, and let others know what is in the area. Based on my search, there is also a Target a few minutes away too.

That is really good to know. We will be there for 12 days at the end of Aug and to make hubby happy I am trying to keep costs down. Lots on eating in our room.

BJ's is actually not very close to Costco but there's a Sam's nearby in case anyone has a Sam's membership but not Costco. Target is right down OBT, then when you finish shopping there's an exit to 417 right down the road to get you back to WDW really quickly. If you DO take 417 to Costco from WDW it's the quickest way to get there. Exit left off OBT ( Orange Blossom Trail) and Costco will be on your left hand side right between a little shopping center with a Big Lots and a Toyota dealership. To get to Target, which is a Super Target, take a right off OBT instead. I live fairly close to this area ( in Hunter's Creek) so if you have specific questions, let me know and I'll try to answer. I'm in Costco all the time.

We stop at this Target (and the Steak n Shake) all the time and never noticed the Costco.

there is a target much closer to AKv than Ob.

at the traffic light leaving AKL/V - you turn right (sherberth road) - when this roads gets to us192 (530) turn right - get in the left lane - a couple of miles - it is on your left (in a mall) - publix is on the right

Yes, there is a closer Target, but if someone wanted to visit both Costco and SuperTarget this would be the one to go to. There's also a Cracker Barrel close by SuperTarget which is popular. BTW, to visit Sam's Club, you would still take a left at OBT and continue on past Costco to Sam's, which is also on the left hand side of OBT.
