Costco matching donations

When we were in Costco today, we were asked if we wanted to make a donation in the RC. I said we were giving on-line. She cashier went on to say that Costco is matching dollar-for-dollar. I added that to my tab then, and it shows up on the receipt as "Red Cross".

Just a reminder to keep in mind if you shop there. I am sure that there are other stores & businesses doing the same thing. DH's employer was matching 50 cents on the dollar until they hit the one million mark.

Let's get more "bang for our buck".
