- No
- You'll get hit with Amex' usual fees for currency conversion
- Closest one appears to be here - http://www.costco.com/warehouse-locations/s-orlando-orlando-fl-184.html - Not particularly close but doesn't look like an inconvenience to reach either.
- Yes. It does look reasonably close to the airport so if you rented a car and didn't pre-purchase a tank of gas I'd hit this spot before you go to the rental return.
Based on my experience, the answer is "maybe". There have been times that I have been able to use my Canadian card, and others where I had to go to Customer Service and have them issue a temporary card with a different number. My only experience in the past 24 months has been at a Costco gas station, where it would not accept my card, but the card worked fine when I went inside the store.
Never had a problem with our Canadian Costco membership in either US or Mexico. Have bought gas at a couple of Southern state (NC,SC) Costco without issue.
Mexican Costco accepts all CC's; wish that would work in Canada and US. If you ever go to Cabo, Mexico, check out the view from the Costco parking lot - best parking lot view ever!
We have never had a problem using our Canadian Costco Card. In the past, we have used Amex. We live near the BC/WA border so we use to go a lot to the Costco there. We have avoided it the past months due to the dollar. We have also gone to Costco in Hawaii and used our card.
We use ours in Bellingham all the time as DW parents have a RV in a park down there so we usually stop there and stock up on food items that are way cheaper than in Canada.
