Costco Has 4 Day Park Hoppers For $259.99

I called Costco here in Las Vegas (Summerlin) they have 2 tickets left. I asked her if any other location in town had any, and she said all other Costco in the valley are sold out.

I wonder if they are going to get more. Because it seems to me that they cannot have an infinite amount of tickets available for this price for the next four months... or can they:confused3

I just upgraded our 4 tix to So Cal Passes and the value was $275 (this past Monday). I was actually a little bummed because we were just going to get the So Cal Select passes ($269) so I thought I'd have a $10/pass upgrade fee but because they scanned at $275 I had to get a SoCall Pass ($329) so a $54/pass upgrade. Obviously still worth it but just something to keep in mind if you're planning to upgrade to a SoCal Select. Still a great deal!

WWWWOW! I didn't see that coming. Sounds like you scored. This strikes me as the first "discount promotion" since tickets were increased and Carsland opened.

I'm very curious to see what others report in the coming weeks. We either need to add a 5th day or upgrade to Delulxe AP. But here is the mind-bender:

How would they handle adding a 5th day to a $275 4-day value when a 5-day kids park hopper is $270? (2 adults, 3 kids).

Actually I'm not sure it matters. If the upgrade value is $275, I would have no choice but to get an AP and plan a second trip next year. The value per day on the 2nd trip is too good to pass up. But it's still a pure money maker for Disney in my case (staying on site). Disney: You should keep it!

OK, I'm stumped. I called Costco CS to see if they can give me locations where the tiks are being sold and they don't turn up ANYTHING with the item number. They don't even turn up anything with a keyword search! And...this is the SECOND time I've called Costco and the SECOND rep who doesn't have any info to give me!

I'm just trying to figure out where I can get these tickets since I don't think they're coming to TX!

I'm in Texas too, the first time I called cs, they said they just don't have any tickets anywhere, she didn't check the item number. Called again and got another person on the phone, he found it in el paso, tx, and in other states. The item number works, you just have to get someone willing to help!
I went to my local Costco and they said they will not get it.
If you find it anywhere in dfw, let me know!! :)

Sorry if someone already mentioned this, but the Costco at Cave Creek Road in north Phoenix has them, too!

I saw them at the Hayward Costco last week, right by the entrance just past the TV section. They are a big display on the left side, not with all the other gift cards that are closer to the pharmacy stuff.

Thanks!!! I was able to get someone to get our tickets for us in Fremont (plenty of tiks in the Fremont Costco). So excited!!!

No luck in DFW:( This crossed my mind and I have no idea if this would work - but it is possible to call one of the stores that DOES have them and ask them to ship?

I'm in DFW. I was told at the Plano store that they are not going to get them. I was also told they would not ship them or let me pay with my card over the phone and have my MIL pick them up for me in AZ. The only way I could get them was to have my MIL buy them for me in AZ and I am paying her back.

If you call Costco (1800-774-2678) and give them your zip code along with the item # (672884) they will check stock in the warehouses nearest to you :thumbsup2

Thank you, that was quick and easy and saved me from driving to the closest Costco which showed there were none, but the next one out has them. Costco c/s also confirmed there are hundreds left and named places like Santa Cruz, San Jose, San Francisco, Mt View, Concord, Modesto, Rancho Cordova, and South Sac.

I just called the location in Summerlin this morning, and I was told that they have 100 passes coming in on a truck Thursday night and will be on the floor on Friday morning. I'm guessing the person I spoke to meant this evening. And I was told to call Friday morning to verify they are on the floor. He said to ask if item # 672884 is on the floor yet.

Hope they receive them tonight! If so, I'll be there tomorrow morning buying 4! :yay:

That's good news! I hope everyone gets the opportunity to purchase the tickets if they need them.
My wish is one day Disney will see how many folks from Vegas loving going to Disneyland and will include us in the Socal zip code discounts.

I was also told they don't ship and don't transfer from one store to another... They should have this on line, it would be so much easier!

We went to the Summerlin location in Vegas tonight and was able to purchase our passes! They weren't even out on display yet. So the cashier rang us up with just the item number. And then at the pickup 'cagged' thingy they had to search for the box they came in because they didn't know yet that they received a new shipment.

The gift cards do work at the Costco gas station. I asked because I wasn't sure.

Made my trip to Costco this morning. I have the 6 tickets needed for our Jan/Feb trip. Our plan is to upgrade to 5-day hoppers.

The Portland, Oregon area has them. I called Wilsonville, they had 64. Other Costco's in the area had anywhere from 212 to 71.

It's a $$ opportunity for anyone going before 2-28-2013.

I'm going to make a note over in the "Who's going in February?" and other threads, so it opens up their possibilities too.

Thanks for the tip!!

Geemo

I have not read this whole thread. I haven't been paying much attention to it because we aren't in California.

But I just saw these today at the Costco in Bountiful Utah too.

Thank u to the original poster on this one. I just bought 3, 4 day park hoppers at our local Costco today here in Tucson AZ. They are selling them at the orange grove location. Very xcited! Was going to go for 3 days and bumped it to 4. Its like Costco gave us about $50 extra to stay an extra day at DHR! Going Dec. 11th. :-)

I just changed the title of the thread to recognize the fact that these passes are being sold at other Costco stores outside of northern CA. Hope this helps those that haven't yet read the thread because they thought these were only available in CA.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find it in the thread.
Does anyone know/care to guess if this will be a better deal than the off-season tickets Disney usually offers? We go Jan or Feb, and the tickets have always been discounted that time of year.
