Costco Deluxe AP is still $269 today (Sunday)

Stopped by our local Costco (Simi Valley, CA) to pick up a deluxe annual pass voucher today, and the price is still $269. No one seemed to know if price was going to adjust anytime soon. As I'm sure most of you know, it includes a $50 giftcard that can be used anywhere in the park, including for food or parking. Given that you can activate it any time before October 31st, it's a way to "save" an additional $20 if you buy it now and activate for a trip anytime from now until end of October.

I've heard they were keeping the price/deal until Aug. 23rd and then there may be a new deal. But it most likely is "while supplies last" and with the price hike I'd guess supplies won't last for long.

We (DW, DS4, DS2, and me) have 5 days for 3 hopper tickets and will visit DLR between Aug 13 and 18. I wonder if we can purchase the Costco annual pass and return the 5 days for 3 hopper tickets as the Costco Deluxe pass seems like a good deal.

Another question I have is that Aug 15 is a blockout day so the Costco Deluxe pass wouldn't work on that day. Can I use hopper tickets until Aug 15 (blockout) and swap the hopper tickets with the Costco Deluxe pass and then get the refunds for the unused hoppers ticket?

This is our first time in DLR and first time to consider AP. Any Any input/ ideas is greatly appreciated.

No, you can't trade your current deal for another one. You could keep your hoppers and then upgarde while at the parks after or on Aug 15th but you can't trade hoppers for a Deluxe AP.
