I did a search to see if this question was already asked and I couldn't find anything.

We'll be stopping on our way to DL tonight at a Costco to buy the deluxe annual pass.
Do we receive the $50 gift card at the park or is that given at Costco?
And at Costco do we specifically ask for the deluxe annual pass with gift card promo or is this a given for any deluxe annual pass purchased?

Just trying to make sure I get this right!! :thumbsup2
Thanks! :goodvibes

Remember it's only at so cal Costcos, and remember that Costco tends to close on the earlier side (at least in our area), so check the closing times of the one you'll be stopping at, and time your drive well!

As far as I know it's the only AP they have.

YOu get your giftcard at Disney, once you redeem the voucher you get for the next voucher (which you then take to the AP processing center to, you know, process...take pictures, give them your info, get the proper card...).

Yup, what Molly said is right. (of course :) ) Contact the Costco you plan to stop at and make sure they have them, then just stop in and buy them. You do get the gift card when you activate your AP at the ticket window. :)

Thanks for the info!! :)

I did call ahead this morning and see who had the passes that are along our route. So that is taken care of!

They just give you a card at the Costco that you take to a ticket booth, where they give you another voucher, admission media, and the gift card. You then go into the park and go to the Plaza Pavilion to get your actual AP.

Costco will give you a paper voucher card. Don't loose it as it's worth $269 + $50 and can't be replaced!

If lines are long at the ticket booths then go to Guest Services to the left of the Disneyland gates as that line is usually much faster. They'll exchange your Costco voucher for a 1 day pass and give you your $50 gift card. You must visit the AP processing center inside Disneyland sometime during the day.

Note that if you have had an AP in the past couple years you will not need to go to the AP processing center. They can reuse your old photo and create your AP ID Card at the ticket booth or at guest services.
