Had a great trip to Costco yesterday.

They have the most beautiful Disney Princess dresses. They were $29.99 I believe and they looked to be of very good quality. Much fancier than the dresses at Walmart or Target.

They also had the toddler Princess dolls....Pocahontas and Jasmine(hard to find princesses). They seem to be going quickly. I got one for DDs birthday in Sept and one to put away for little DD for Christmas. They were $15.99.

The biggest hit were the Disney Princess pajamas. They are in sizes 2T through 7. They are lighter weight winter jammies. The styles were great - hard to chose from....Tinkerbell, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella. They came in a silver tin with the Princesses on the front. A very nice keepsake tin. The jammies were $14.99.

Funny I went into Costco for 2 items and came out with a cart full of goodies:D

Thanks for the information. I might just have to stop by my local Costco and see what I can find. I have the same problem. Go in for a couple of things and come out with over a $100.00 worth of stuff.

Off subject but thought I'd comment on Costco in general... I cannot leave Costo (or BJ's) without spending at least $100.00 usually much more!!! My GF is no longer allowed to shop there unsupervised (her decision before the flames start) as she has gotten in the past, 10 years supply of toilet paper, 5 years supply of facial tissues, condiments to last through the next millennium, etc. She agrees she shouldn’t be allowed in there at all but with some supervision she can keep it under $300 per visit. Those stores are dangerous as you can always find many "good deals" but does anyone really need 200lbs of potato chips or similar... All I can say is thank the Lord they don't sell women’s shoes or pocketbooks!!!

My rule of thumb @ Costco: Each hour = $100. So the trick is to get in and get out as quick as possible!!!

Back to the Princess dresses -- Our Costco also had the accessory pack that went with the dresses. They included matching shoes, crowns, etc. I can't remember exactly but I think they were in the $15-$20 range. The entire ensemble could get a little pricey but it's still about half what the DS charges.

Yes, I did see the Princess accessory packs. They were really cute, kinda pricey but you do get a lot in the packs. Gloves, shoes, crown, sequin purse.

DD is having a princess birthday sleepover and I am trying to find stuff for the party. I think I'll head back there and see what I can get.

LOL - another mega shopping trip. Or I could head over to Sams and see what they have.

Our Costco gets Coach handbags all of the time. They also get UGGs in for a great price... a lot cheaper than Nordstrom.

I have gotten much better about not buying too much stuff I don't need anymore - DVDs, books and cat structures (did you see the one that looked like a giant tree?) are my weaknesses. My sisters can't go into Costco or Sam's without spending at least $300. It's the "Oh, I need new towels" and of course their kids start in on the free samples and they just have to have the food at home. It's the black hole of shopping - gotta love it!!! :hyper:

I am scary at Costco.
Since I became a SAHM I have really learned to restrain myself there because we spent sooooo much there! In the San Diego area we have about 10 Costcos!
I have learned that there a lot of items that you can get better deals elsewhere - such as Target or Wal-Mart when they have specials - but Costco is a great place to price compare if you are willing to shop around.
We love Costco so much that we stopped at the one in Maui when we were on vacation there in June just to see what sort of merchandise (local stuff) and deals they had. We found that they had some great prices on coffee and macadamia nuts, etc.
We bought our hot tub through Costco online and we're not satisified with it. After 6 months they came and took it back and we got a full refund - no hasssles returning it at all.

As far as the shoes and handbag post above - let's just say that I have 2 Coach bags, a Dooney & Bourke backpack, and a lot of Ralph Lauren shoes from Costco!!! ;)

I went to Costco last night and bought the pajamas. You're right, they are so cute that it was so hard to decide. Of course, I couldn't so I wound up buying Snow White, Tinkerbell, Ariel and Cinderella. I didn't buy Belle or Sleeping Beauty.

Thanks for posting this (I think).

BTW, the tins are also cute.
