I've booked through Costco, and have also seen this. If you're just searching Costco's cruise prices without being logged in, they show up as higher. Once you're actually logged in to the site, it shows the correct prices. I don't know why this is - but try logging in to to Costco Travel with your Costco number before searching.

If it's inside a certain period of time you can transfer it.

FYI, I work with a cruise company and all Travel agents and travel companies get the same price. The pricing difference comes from Travel Agent using part of their commission to buy the price down.

Apparently the post was wrong info. There are no "larger internet companies" who offer a lower price for a DCL cruise.

Sometimes the Costco page doesn't have the latest "deal". but if you call them, they can work with Royal (or whomever) and get you the proper promotion.

Can you use Disney gift cards to pay for your cruise?

Yes.
You can either call your TA with the numbers (reco consolidating them before you do this), or load them in yourself to a Disney Vacation Account and then call the DVA number and have your account funds transferred to your cruise reservation. After you do this, you should have your TA confirm your new balance or that you're PIF so they they don't charge your card come final payment time.

Thanks for the info on this thread. I compared Costco's price and DCL's price this morning. DCL's was lower, so I booked directly with them. After reading this thread, I called up Costco to transfer my booking to them. I'll be getting $400+ CASH CARD at the end of our cruise! Thanks for saving me $$$!

Pp said yes and gave good recs. You can also buy Disney gift cards at Target with the red card and get 5% off
