Cost to upgrade give a day ticket?

Can anyone tell me how to calculate the price to upgrade a give a day get a day ticket? I would want to upgrade to 7 day park hopper. TIA.

Take the price posted above the ticket booths for the kind of ticket you want to end up with, subtract $79 (cost of a one-day base), then you pay the difference plus 6-1/2 percent tax on the difference.

I think the 7 day base costs around $250., plus $55. for the hopping.

After you redeem your voucher and get your ticket, go inside the park to upgrade it (Guest Relations is just inside the turnstiles; City Hall for Magic Kingdom. Or you can hold off on upgrading until the next day if you wish; the ticket you upgrade to will still have the accumulated usage,(here, one day) of the ticket you submitted taken out.

Actually you have 14 days to perform any or additional upgrades, although the 1 day ticket of course cannot be used the next day until another day has been added.
