Hello :) Our group has booked a meet and greet. Does anyone know how much it costs to have a character attend? Thank you!

Not sure what you mean. You booked a private meet and greet through DCL? Or you want to attend one of the ship's meet and greets? If you booked your own meet and greet (I assume a get together somewhere onboard) and you want a characters to attend it is pretty costly. Many years ago it was $250-300 per 30 minutes per character. I believe the price is even way more now.

Thank you! I did mean a private meet and greet booked through DCL. It does seem quite costly, but if you have a lot of people attending and can split the cost, it's not so bad.

for weddings at WDW, 30' with one character are now upwards of $900. I can't recall the last time I've seen someone mentioning doing this onboard and when i did i don't recall it being as much as on land, but its very expensive. try contacting shoreside? or i guess whomever it is you are speaking to about your event (location/food and drink etc)? they will have the most up to date! :)

Our group tried to do so last year and the cost was around $400 but you must schedule with them ahead of time. They need to provide you a location, so it can change last second & the person who arranged it will be the only contact for DCL and that person would be responsible to notify the others in the group. That person that arranges is also responsible for the total cost and then the group figures out the accounting between them, DCL won't apply partial costs to various passengers. I think it was for a short time like 1/2 hour or so and only choice was Mickey or Minnie. I wasn't the one that looked into it but that is what I recall, from the one who told our group. We ended up not doing that and only doing a meet in one of the lounges and that also had to be pre-arranged with DCL only because we wanted bar service, so had to have a bartender scheduled. I think they needed enough people and there was a minimal charge for that too. That was a lot of fun and brought our group together. We had last min. Changes in the FE so it was great to get that updated info out, exchange stories, and kids made friends there like a pre kids club meet and greet. Hope this helps
