Cost of Value Resort

A friend of the family is going next month and could not find this info on the web. Does anyone know the typical nightly cost for a WDW value resort? They are going to FL to visit family on Monday, so they won't be able to call around on a weekday before they go.

If Im not mistaken its somewhere around 79 a nite plus tax, then the moderates start somewhere around 120

VAlue resorts range in Price from around 79-129 depending on preferred or non preferred room and season. It really depends on when you go If you have an AP you can get rates I believe around 65.00. Hope this helps.

I checked it out, and July at a Value resort is "Regular" season, and they are going on a weekday. I told them that I am under the impression the Value resorts don't cost *that* much more than staying off property, unless you find some great deal (I would be reluctant to Priceline it because some of the places are iffy). So it seems to me the advantages of staying on property are worth spending a little bit more, if they can afford it. They wanted to know an exact amount, though.

take the rate and add I believe it is 12.5 % for all stars as they are in another county from other resorts(weird I know)

or go to www.allearsnet.com and check out her charts- deb has everything listed- rates, seasons tax and such

Actually I had gone to Deb's site before posting here. That's where I found out it was "Regular" season, but it gave a range of prices, nothing exact. I did not know All Stars were in another county!

Funnily, "Regular" season is the second lowest out of 4 choices, whereas for the DVC in the same exact time period, points are in the second *highest* season out of 6! I considered giving them some of my points if there was availability, but I can't afford to!

We are going to be staying an extra night at ASMo in October during value season, and the cost including tax was $110 and some change.
