Have reservations through CRO for ASMu with the UPH passes. I have been browsing the boards and now question whether there is a way to get a better rate. We are getting the room at $109 a night. When booking it was also highly adviced by the CM to purchase the cancellation insurance. Since I have had to cancel vacations before due to children getting ill I agreed to the insurance. Does anyone know if there is a better rate or a code that can be used for 3/29-4/3 and is changing my rate even an option if I have already paid? Sorry, this is so long but I really have no idea what I am doing. This is a very expensive vacation for my family. Those of you who can afford the other resorts have me very envious. :o)

The Nuts and Bolts of Disney Discounts 101

Don't forget you can get all the info on all the DI$counts right here on the DIS - just follow the links to the codes.......

I'm sorry to say that I do not think there is much chance of a discount at easter any longer. It is only 1 month away and the resorts are filling up.

But - I do not know that for sure and some of this discount codes could still help you out.

If you call WDW and tell them you have a reservation, but became aware of a discount code - tell them you are wondering if they can apply that discount to your reservation

Good Luck BTW - we will be at the Dolphin for Easter. Maybe we will pass each other in the parks. I'll be the guy with his wife and 2 kids.... LOL...

seriously - we at the DIS try to wear lime green ribbons when at WDW to try and identify each other.

Dear Disneyfan,

While I can certainly sympathize with your financial concerns...the time of year you are going is probably the busiest at WDW. We have been going on and off for the last ten years....while 109$ is alot of money that is the going rate for Easter and I would be very surprised if you could do better. By going the end of April- beginning of May you could stay at a Moderate for 95$.
Now does this help your dilema?.....I don't know if you could pull your kids out of school....change your dates ect.
Everything at WDW IS EXPENSIVE if you have never been there planning is key.......there is a certain magic associated with staying onsite as people on this board have mentioned......I have read that the Value resorts are sold out for Easter....so you did good having a ressie.......A few suggestions if I may.....Get the Unofficial Guide to WDW.....check the budget board for ways to save money....also I noticed you have UPHP..... get ready to do the parks commando style... LOL.... and take a rest in the middle of the day....you cannot possibly do it all in 4-5 days....WDW IS 45 SQ. miles and it will be there next time you go......Hope this helps....feel free to Email any ?..........just remember your on vacation and if you can relax!........Best of Luck....RAHKMH
