Cost of Pal Mickey...

For anyone who has bought Pal Mickey at WDW, is the cost of PM $50 before or after tax? I know there is a 6.5% tax but Deb's website said that it was $50 after tax and I got the impression from others it was $50 plus tax.

If you're paying $50 for a toy (hey, even if it is Mickey), what's another $3.25 or so for tax?

Actually, I'm bidding on ebay and want to add in all the costs. Some people are actually paying over $60 on ebay for PM and then they have to pay for s/h. I think "how stupid". If I can get it below what I would pay down in WDW, then great. So, $3.25 does make a difference.

I found out the WDW is actually located in three separate counties in Florida. The tax rate could be from 6.5% to 8% depending where you buy. So if the tax is important, make sure you ask!

I just purchased a Pal Mickey last month, and the price was $50 total, which included tax.

I wanted to rent PAL Mickey and they charged my credit card exactly $50.00. I was told to save the receipt and they would refund the money (minus the $8 rental fee) at the end of the day. I loved him so much, however, that at the end of the day I showed my receipt and traded my rental pal mickey for a brand new one to take home.
