I was recently told that the "golden arches" inside DCA has prices that are much higher than their normal stores. I am wondering if the same is true for the McDonalds across the street from DL on Harbor. I was hoping to grab some take out there a few times. If it is more expensive I will just make my husband take me to IN-N-OUT. :rolleyes1

I haven't found the one on Harbor to be any more expensive, and I can even find 10% off coupons for there every once in a while too!

It does cost a bit more at the Mcdonald at harbor. I usually go there to get my fix of $.99 double cheeseburgers but one day, i drove there, they were selling double cheeseburgers at $1.99 each. After that, i rather drive farther to another mcdonalds than to eat at that one.

I'm pretty sure we went to an In and Out in Anaheim in 2006. That said, the McDonalds at Harbor was the same cost as the one here in my small Alaska town, which means it is more expensive than a regular McDonalds. BUT, it was still a lot cheaper than anything (including the McD's) in the park. I think we ate there a record 3 times on our last trip. (Sad, I know but we didn't have a car and we had tired kids). :scared: That may help explain why I was looking at all our photos thinking, "who is that chubby woman with my children---oh my gosh, that's ME!":rolleyes1

everything on harbor is more expensive. and i'm from NYC so that's saying something.

i recall a 2 liter bottle of soda being around $3.

This link has the coupon, but it should have the new one for after 4/15/08 soon, it updates it every year~!

The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau has a couple of printable restaurant coupons on its site. (Thanks to Jon F for info.) Two of the coupons are great for people visiting Disneyland:

10% off food at the McDonald's right across the street from Disneyland at 1500 S. Harbor

We eat the McDonalds often on Harbor, if they are higher it isn't that noticable to us. Anything in the park will cost way more. We ate only once at the McDonalds in DCA. The meals didn't come with fries, I believe that was extra. It was crazy expensive, better to just go across the street!

When i go next time we will have a car so i'm gonna go looking for the sonics when-ever i see them on the T.V they look so good but we don't have any around here.... i thought there were more or else an atlanta area kinda thing as i always see it on tbs...... I can't wait to have some yummy fries :lovestruc

The McDonalds on Harbor was right next to our hotel, so we ate there a few times.

The food is pretty close to average McDonalds price. They have Angus burgers (they don't have them in our area of WA).

They do not have a value menu, but do carry parfaits for $1, and larger parfaits for around $2 or $2.50.

We didn't find the prices on Harbor too terribly horrible - at any of the restaurants.

One thing to remember about Sonic is that they do not do refills at Sonic. This is a big deal to me, I love to refill right before we leave :)

Anything right near Disney will be higher than a regular location. The McD's on Harbor is more, but not drastically higher. Individually many items might be 10-20 cents higher, while others might be closer to 50-75 cents higher. Package or Extra Value Meals are higher too, but again, not drastically higher.

The same holds true at WDW and the McD's at Crossroads village - except there, the increase is more than at the Harbor location at DL. Most things are at least 50 cents to a dollar higher, with most of the EVM's at least a couple of dollars more than regular McD's.

The McD's on Harbor is more expensive than other McD's in the area. It is way cheaper than inside the park, but still more than normal. I think the IHOP (right in front of DL crosswalk) is crazy expensive! We went there and left because the prices were so much higher. We drove to another IHOP a few blocks away (not the one down the street on the other side of Katella - they are really close!) and it was normal prices. We will usually drive down Harbor to Coco's, or down Katella to Marie Calendar's, both are WAY better than IHOP anyway.

I'd certainly drive to In-N-Out over McD's any day of the week and twice on Sunday! We used to live in MO so the only time we got In-N-Out is when we went to DL. Now we live in AZ (yipppeeee!) and they have In-N-Out!!! WHOOO HOOO! :woohoo:

I have never been to In and Out but want to. Too bad we won't have a car, is there any other way to get there? Is it expensive to take a cab?

We have Sonics here..(2 in my dinky town). I never thought much of the fries, but the drinks are great!...Cranberry Limeade...mmmm

In-n-out blows everyone out of the water. They are so good.

This Saturday after my fiancee and I fly into LAX, I can have my first double double in a few years. I cant wait. It will be her first In-n-out experience and she is looking foward to it.

Sonic originated in Oklahoma...my home state. Dh and I miss it very much now that we live in NorCal. We've never done it, but we have a friend who's driven 2hrs just for a Sonic Limeade lmao.
