Cost of making a bouquet

For those of you who made your own bouquets with silk flowers, about how much did it cost you? I'm thinking I can probably make a bouquet for my MOH for less than the $45 triple rose wand I was planning on getting for her.

I posted pictures of mine the other day that I am working on. I'll try to estimate how much I have spent making it. It is HUGE and has approximately 300 swarovski crystals and pearls (although you can't really see them in the photos ).

Non Tarnish Gold Plated Wire (ebay) $30 for 8 spools. Used 4 for the bouquet $15.

Swarovski Crystals and pearls (Ebay) Approximately $20

Flowers from Michaels $20

Fabric to make the ribbon (clearance at Walmart) $2

Floral tape $1

Total for bridal bouquet approximately $58

Thank you. I'm waiting to hear back from Rosie about the cost for using silk flowers instead of fresh, and then I'll decide what I'm going to do. I'm not creative at all, so I'm a little hesitant about making a bouquet myself, but it might be more cost effective.

You can also go into Hobby Lobby or Michaels pick out the flowers you want and they will make it. When their flowers are on sale. It can be really reasonable. GL
