hi all, so i'm looking at us drinking plenty of drinks in the parks to keep us hydrated, i hate the taste of there tap water (to much fluride i think) so would be buying plenty of bottles of water and coke while in the park. What are the prices of these please ?

thanks

If buying from one of the little carts last time I looked a 20oz Coke (in one of those little plastic screw top bottles) was $2.50. Not sure I think water was the same.

If you can buy from a proper fast food window then they have soda 'on tap' and a super large pop (which is big enough to share!) was about $2.25 + tax I think.

If you buy the soda "on tap" buy the big cup and ask for it without ice. It's very cold from the machine anyway, and you get more to share as there's no ice to take up space.

For some reason drinks are slightly cheaper at Caseys Corner in MK than from any where esle in the parks. Maybe because Coca Cola sponser it!! Great hot dogs as well...mmmmmmmm!

Its worth bringing in a couple of bottles of your own. We freeze a few and chuck them in our rucksacks (and keep a couple in the car..still cold and drinkable on your return!!). These keep cool for ages and work out much cheaper than buying them for $2.50 each at WDW (24 sport top bottles from the Publix = $5!!).

We were last there in 2000 and bottles of water were $2.50 each, an expensive 'do' when there were 4 of us wanting drinks every couple of hours. This year, we have bought a coolbag rucksack from Sainsbury's which we intend to put bottles of water in from Wal-Mart, which is apparantly a lot cheaper. I know the bottles won't last all day, but it should save us about $30 a day hopefully.

Coca Cola actually sponser ALL of WDW and supply all The outlets with FREE supplies Disney do not pay a cent! What you pay is what they make its a big deal for a drink company to be the official supplier to Disney..

I try to freeze at least a couple of bottles of gatorade to take into the parks. If you make it fairly strong you can add some of the tap water to it without being able to notice the heavily chlorinated taste.

i always plan on carrying bottles in, but in the end, we just end up buying in the parks....
we drink a ton in the morning before we leave the resort....and again in the middle of the day when we come back to the resort (we never stay in the parks past 1 in the afternoon)..

in the parks, we buy rather than bring............it's just more convenient....
i suppose we probably spent about $200 over the course of 2 weeks this summer, but that's chicken feed relative to the cost of the vacation (you don't want to know)....

Hi Chris, We bought 2 watercooler bottles from Walmart for about $3 each, they come with shoulder straps and are padded to keep cool. Then whenever we passed a water fountain we just filled them up. The kids didn't mind carrying them as they weren't very big and it saved a lot of money when there was 5 of us. They now use them for their pack lunches for school.

Buy a polystyrene Cooler box from walmart for about $3. fill it every day with free ice from the machines at the hotel. Buy bottled water at any supermarket and keep it in the Cooler box in the car. It is always handy for when you get back to the car park.
