We are going to a Disney on Ice show this week. I am wondering how much I should take for souvenirs and what they might have. DD is 5 if that helps.

So expensive. About $20 on average I'd say for a souvenir cup. More for wands and toys.

I just looked at my FB and saw the status, 'Danica just spilled a $12 bag of popcorn. Kill me.'

Enjoy lmao! It's outrageously expensive. We end up getting the wands and stuff on the way out from the third party vendors outside for about half the price, but they won't have them in the show if you do that.

Disney on Ice is the only place I have ever seen a $16 snow cone - and that was 10 years ago. I would guess that it's pricier now.

Even a bag of cotton candy was over $10.

Thank you! So, I guess it should have been obvious that it would be Disney pricing.

I believe I paid $12 for an Anna and Elsa snow cone cup for my girls last month. That was the cheapest thing I saw. Just getting a picture taken with the cutout pictures of the characters was $20 for one pic!o_O The regular light up wands were $25ish I think and the Frozen snowflake wand was $32! Needless to say, 2 snow cone cups for almost $25 was the most the girls got that day and they were happy to have gotten that :-)

My kids always knew from the start to not even ask when we went to those shows. Their prices are crazy expensive.

My kids also know not to even ask. Getting to go is their treat. The stuff is Walmart/Target quality at best for quadruple the price.

We usually go out to eat before or after the show instead which is a treat for them as well. Better food and the whole family can eat for the price of 2 snow cones.:yay:

DD is fairly spoiled. We are okay with it. But I know she is going to want something and I know that her father and I won't say no. So knowing the costs up front is nice. But we'll eat at home before going.
