I know there is a $75 charge for making a Disney Cruise reservation using points. I assume this is per reservation and not per person.
But, is there any other cash needed for the reservation, such as port charges, or is that included in the points???

Port charges are included. You just have to fork over $75 when you make the reservation. Period. If you need to change any aspect of your reservation, you will have to pay $75 each time you make a change.

You'll need to pay the $75.00 exchange fee plus these additional charges if you use them;
Parking at the port
Soft drinks not served during a meal
Alcoholic beverages
Any Spa charges you incur
Souveneers
Tips.
Excursions

Port charges are included with your points reservation.....spruce

Good point spruce. Even though our 7-day cruise only cost us (initially) $75 for the transfer fee, we ended up spending a lot more than that for photos, excursions, tips, and souveniers. I suppose it didn't help that I spent about $500 on pins. :earseek:

Thanks -

Know what you mean about the additional charges.

We just got back from the 3 day cruise. Not counting the cost of the cruise, we spend over $1000 on Tips, both on and off the ship, parking, excursions, drinks, photos, souvineers, pins, and spa stuff. That's just for the 2 of us, and my wife doesn't drink, and I only had 4 drinks!!!!

What I was interested in, we just became DVC members, was the cost of just the cruise, like you said, points + $75 exchange fee.

Again thanks

$75.00 is the only fee to you when making reservations with points. ...spruce

Most cruise lines make you pay for drinks like alcohol and soda (although on RCL soday ya had to pay for but juice was free). They get on the photo stuff and excursions.
