Cost of cabana at VB?

Someone asked this on another thread. I have aphotot of the rental prices from a couple of years ago and I don't see a cabana listed. I don't this I have ever seen them ont he beach. Anybody know if they are for rent and how much per day? We are traveling with a 2 month old this summer and need a large shaded area for her playpen. Thanks.

A friend just got back from Vero and as they know we are going they sent us all the info they got. One of the things was "Perk Pages" which lists DVC perks ant Vero and a Cabana is $12 per day (normal cost $15)

Wow, Only $12 a day, thats not too bad, I was expecting it to be alot more! Humm maybe we will try that for a day and see how we like it! Can't Wait for July!

Thanks!!! I have never seen them used and this will be our 5th summer trip. I'm glad to know I don't have to fool with buying one for the trip and lugging it to the beach.

FYI the cabana supply would be exhausted by 10 am each day that we were there over Labor Day a few years back......so get down to the beach early to rent one, set it up with some chairs and your towels. It's annoying that people do this, but at Vero people reserve chairs at the pool and the beach with their towels....just like they do at Storm-along-Bay....and then disappear for the day.

One difference -- at the beach they are paying for the chairs, cabana, etc.. I don't have a problem with that .. the pool chairs are another issue
