Cost of beer @ OKW

Hi everyone!! We are staying at OKW next month and are getting our garden grocer delivery ordered. I know they will make a "beer run" in addition to our regular order, but I was thinking it may be easier just to buy it at the resort, if it's about the same price. Anyone have any prices??? TIA

Seem like it was close to $10 for a six pack. I would go with Garden Grocer!

I know a bottle of beer at the resorts is expensive (around $3.00 a bottle), it is much cheaper to get off property. We usually go to Publix and get a case roughly around $10 but depends on what you like and how much you want to drink, lol.

Thanks ladycop67 and CarolA. I think we are going to go ahead and have garden grocer bring it to us- seems like even with the delivery fee it will be a better deal!

Everything, including beer is always cheaper outside the World.

If you're in DTD you could always pop over to the Hess station across the street. The beer prices there are pretty normal.

The resort stores provide conveniences at what I consider a high premium, if you have a car, Head to Cross Roads intersection and make a left. About 1 1/2 miles down the road on your left you will see a Winn Dixie Grocerie store, a liquor store, Papa Johns Pizza etc. I personally don't like the prices or the cleanliness of the Goodings, right at Cross Roads. If you don't have a car w/ you then I guess I would also break down and use what was convenient and available.

Last time I was in the one by the Boardwalk they had the 16 oz plastic bottles 2 for $2. (One was still regular price of $1.50 or something so I got two! )

Last time DH and I ordered for a six day trip, we got a case thinking that if each of us drank two every night it would work out perfectly. Well, we ended up spending a lot more time at the parks than usual, and still had 6 left the morning we were checking out! We were wandering the halls at BWV asking if anyone wanted any beer LOL!!
