Cost of an AP at Universal? Best price?

Where are you getting that from? Who said anything about upgrading?

I'm just guessing at how a power pass could possibly be $52 and that was all I could come up with.

A few people here have said that they got power passes even though they weren't Florida residents so that part doesn't surprise me.

I wish Universal would make up their minds about the Power Pass. I mean...the website says you can not buy it unless you're a FL resident but then you hear stories of people who live out of state who were able to purchase it. The PP really isn't that great a deal to begin with since it doesn't include any discounts or parking...that's why I didn't get the Seasonal Pass from Disney. But I guess people who don't go that often like it...I don't know.

I think it is a good option for members of a family when one person already has at least a preferred.

Yeah but Universal either needs to make it available to everyone or just FL residents...not say one thing on the website and allow something different. That's why so many people are confused. I think I'm going to stop by Guest Services this weekend sometime...whenever I make it over...and find out for myself.

Please share what you find out. We were able to buy the power pass when we went last....way back in 2007, and then my husband bought the preferred. It worked out well for us...and we get 2 uses out of it so it's cheaper than buying straight tickets.
