How much would an AP be at US?? Can ou get any discounts? AAA etc ..???
The OP is from NY. She will have to go for the $229 preferred pass.
It depends on what tickets you buy. You will need to purchase separate tickets for August and December. You would have to calculate how much the tickets would be and see if the AP would make sense. Keep in mind...if you purchased the Preferred or Premier AP, you would get discounts off food and merchandise in the parks and parking would be free.Thank you. What is the # of day cut off where it pays to get an AP. I will be going to US for 3 days in Aug and probably 1 day in Dec.

Well....The 3 day ticket would be $139.99. The one day ticket would be $110 plus if you don't stay onsite you will prob need parking which adds in roughly $40+.
So imo the best deal would be the AAA discounted 2 park Preferred AP.
how much is the ap through aaa?
Gosh...it's been a while since we went to Universal (our annual passes were 109.00....WOW). Now you can't get an annual pass (unless you're a FL resident) for under 200.00....what gives. Is Harry Potter really bumping prices that much? We're a family of 7 so over 730.00 to visit a park for 2 days is not going to happen. If annual passes were closer to a 2 day ticket price I could justify it and make our 2011 trip a week earlier so we could visit Universal again.
I really really want to take my kids back for a couple of days though....do they ever offer discounts?
Since you are in Georgia, check and see if the Florida residents rates will apply to you. Sometimes they do.
Okay...thanks. Do I just call them and ask or is there a place online to put that information? Thanks again!!!
Wait...you paid $52 for a Power Pass that's good for a year? The Power Pass for FL residents is $139.99 so how did you manage to get it so cheaply especially since you're not a FL resident?I bought the Power Pass in March at Guest Services and I am from Pennsylvania. I told them that I was surprised that I could by the Power Pass being from another state. They looked at me like I was crazy and said they had never heard of that.So I paid $52 and now Im good for my next 3 trips to Florida.
